Rear seat center pass through?

Hey all. I’m getting tired of the suv thing and am looking at the legacy. The problem is I have 2 kids in car seats and play hockey. Is there any way to make a pass through from the trunk, maybe cutting out an area behind the rear middle armrest? Or if not, is there a car out there with 40/20/40 split rear seats? Thanks

The back seat in the legacy splits 60/40, would it be possible to fit the 2 car seats in the one outboard seat+ center seat? and just flip down the 40 side? I'd bring car seats to dealership and give it a try before I started cutting car apart.

^^^ depends on your car seats. I'd expect a tight or impossible fit for most of the modern (legal) style side by side.
