Just got back from the track - best results;

1.732 60ft

8.26 1/8 mile

13.01 1/4 mile

103 trap speed

103.5 was my fastest trap speed

64 degrees and had over a half of tank of gas 100 octane (with stock top mount)

(theory - if I would of had less than a qtr of a tank - I think I would have been in the 12's)

This TDC is so much more torque than than my last tune.

SO CLOSE!!!

well ittl happen w less gas !!

Also running 100 oct with about two gallons of gas (gas light was on for three previous runs) temp 67 degrees?

This TDC is so much more torque than than my last tune.

Excellent times Dan, I am impressed!

Thanks Eric

I think Jon is planning to make a trip to Tampa / Orlando for a Pro-Tune and Utek tune in late February. I hope he does cause I would like to see what he could do with my car on a Dyno...:icon_bigg

Jon - thanks again! You do GREAT work! It is amazing how much faster the car is with your Pro-tune set up. You KNOW our cars that is for sure!

Was that on one of his "mail-order" tunes? If so I'd say it kick's cobb's ass. Do the remote tune with Jon and see if you can get a little more out of the tune (if you haven't already) as far as fastest auto, I think you got it man.

i just made the bestof it and the only place in dade city to do drag runs is up the on ramps!!

After my 31 over ticket while tuning on straight roads at 2am, I decided I needed another locale cops usually dont laz,so on ramps are where I do my own tuning as well. ;)

  • 4 weeks later...

Guys I've noticed on this thread that nobody is saying what tires/wheels or suspension they are using. We can see from the Road & Track tests of both the Legacy GT (5MT) and the B-Spec their times are GT: 0-60 5.6, 1/4 14.3 @ 96mph. B-Spec: 0-60 5.1, 1/4 13.7 @ 99mph. The only difference in cars is tires/wheels and suspension. Something to consider as it effects launch = time.;)

(If i've missed it in the previous 6 pages...sorry)

Additional comment to my previous post...

I realize Road & Track most likely had two different drivers and the weather was not exactly the same, which effects times. But considering the differences, tires/wheels and suspension has to be playing a role here.
