Bariki
It's really cold out right now, and my engine revs really hard starting around 3500-4000 rpms. I'm not 100% sure if the car is accelerating harder than normal, but it didn't do this when it was warmer out. I'm wondering if my clutch is slipping (just bought the car a few weeks ago), or whether this is just where the boost kicks in when it's cold. Max Capacity
How many miles on the clutch ? a test is to give it full boost in 5th gear from about 65mph. If the rev's clime but the speed doesn't, that's a slipping clutch. Assuming you have a 5mt. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it. Engine Build - Click Here
Bariki
I don't know. The car itself is low-mileage by American standards, but relatively high mileage by Japanese standards. I checked it for slipping when I bought it by doing a standing start in high gear and it didn't seem to slip. It also didn't seem the slip last time I drove it, although I swear I could smell some Eau de Clutch at some point.

Mine passes this test, but slips first and second like crazy if you try to do silly things like launch the car. It's getting a new clutch, lol.
