Sololeggy Posted December 9, 2017 Share Posted December 9, 2017 Hey I replaced my right rear axle pulled it out and put a new one in but it's not going fully into the differential, can anyone help me or tell me what I can do to fix it??? Try flipping it 180I did I tried everything but it stickes out about an inch inch and a half from the diff like something is stopping it and idk what. Setnev Posted December 17, 2017 Share Posted December 17, 2017 You need to slam it in there. Smack it in there like it owes you money. You see that groove on the tip of the shaft? There a clip inside the diff that holds it in there. Its a pressure clip and requires a bit of force to get it to expand and slip over the head of the shaft. That's also why the shaft is tapered.
