KiwiBR9
G'day everyone, I've been lurking around here for quite some time now but this is my first post so I'll make a quick introduction. I'm a Kiwi living in Japan teaching English. I drive a 2010 5EAT BR9 wagon. Living in Japan I'm pretty lucky with second hand parts so I've slowly been upgrading that way; Brembo breaks STI stamped Bilsteins struts. STI lowering springs. Prova (Cobb) AP Prova bypass valve HKS Super Turbo Turbo Back. (Cat waiting to go in w/ stage 2) Perrin Steering Dampener Lockdown Other bits and bobs. Anyway onto the real stuff. I'm moving towards stage 2 and want to upgrade the TMIC. I tried to source something here in Japan. No luck. So I'm reaching out to ask if anyone knows that there is a difference between the JDM and USDM TMICs. If not I'll get the GS TMIC on back order. As an aside, my Japanese Girlfriend is the world's worst enabler so if you have any recommendations for JDM parts I should look into PLEASE tell me. Cheers again and nice to meet you all. KiwiBR9
Cheers Andy, that's a real minter. Bugger it got written off. Just searched up those headlights. Found a second set for around 300NZD. Might have to give them a ring. Do you know our regs for black tail lights? No go right?
Becks1818
Hey Kiwi There's no difference between JDM and USDM TMIC. I'm actually having a jdm engine being installed in my 2011 legacy gt as we speak. Sent from my SM-G930W8 using Tapatalk

GTEASER
Hello and welcome! No difference between JDM and USDM TMIC. Not sure what other offerings are available in Japan, but keep in mind that anything for an SJ Forester XT and the newest VA chassis WRX (not STi) will fit as well.
