ryanlucas13
Hey everyone, I searched the forum for a little while and couldn’t find what I was looking for. For the last few years when going to the car wash I would get water coming in from the top corner of my driver side window and it would run down the trim in between the front and rear glass. It has got much worse now to the point that I have to put a rag in the upper corner if I goto the car wash. My question is what part do I need to replace that seal that goes around the top part of the door frame? I have a 2007 Legacy so I assume the seals are shot. Thanks in advance. apexi
I wonder if you can get away with just adjusting the tilt of the window? I haven't even read through these fsm documents, but I'm almost positive you can adjust that. *After reading the fsm documents tilt might not be the right word, but how hard the glass presses up against the weatherstripping. MilesA
You can try just conditioning the rubber weatherstripping first. It tends to dry out and shrink a bit with age. One of the best ways to do this is silicone dielectric grease -- just put some on a rag and apply it to the weatherstripping. This also helps avoid squeaking noises.
