tuesdayboyd
Is there anything special? Wiring harness? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
Brighton96
I haven't done it before but I'd imagine everything would be flipped, some of which is just a matter of literally flipping it and others require donor parts. The metal fuel lines and sensor locations may be reversed so you'll have to pull parts from a RHD version. But I think just about everything else would be the same. Setnev
What motor came out of the vehicle and what motor is going in?
Bassnectar
swap the intake manifold / wiring from the rhd car to the lhd engine and everything will plug in. however if the rhd car has the jdm 2.0l it may not operate a 2.5l correctly lol. we need more info to give a definite answer. RustyRuu
i don't suppose a lot of people firewall swap subaru's with the dash still attached like r32's and such. *edit* sorry it was just the motor not a RHD to LHD my bad.
tuesdayboyd
It's a 2.2, auto., and a 97 Postal that I'm swapping it into, so 2.2, auto., I just didn't know if it would be reversed or something weird, but I think it'd be the same all the way. The RHD mail Jeeps APPARENTLY have some special parts because they're RHD, but it doesn't appear that my Subaru has the same issue. ehsnils
The only constraint I know of on Subies is that a RHD twin turbo engine don't fit into a LHD vehicle because it comes in conflict with the brake servo on a LHD.
doublechaz
My parts guy was talking about RHD postal 2.2 legacy wagon and his claim was that everything he could think of to look up in his system was the same except the steering rack. That info is somewhere between 'a rumor I heard', and 'my friend knows this guy that...'. FWIW.
