beelo
Hey everyone! So far this forum has been a fantastic help to tracking down the right fuel pump — but unfortunately it looks like the problem is within the injectors. I'm living on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada with a 1996 Legacy Zecter edition.. but the engine is one that I'm not familiar with and was a donor when the old one turned on the previous owner. I have two options here! Take apart the car and hope to god the part number is on the injector (unlikely with my current luck) or find out where this engine was from and hopefully get some injectors into their rightful home. I've attached some photos of the engine in hopes that someone could recognize it. I don't know how similar all of the EJ20's are so this may very well be incredibly far-fetched. Thank you all! Only info I have is twin turbo https://photos.app.goo.gl/hehasEEha2xlXWcY2 https://photos.app.goo.gl/iZUmBOUULdJnRvqA2 https://photos.app.goo.gl/Pet6KGLSkge228oq1
Setnev
In that vintage, you have an EJ20R engine. Here is the fuel system diagram and the part number for the EJ20R injectors are 16611AA230

Dalee1104
I swear half the people here are either gods or just car guru's, you can always look to setnev, chaz, twisty, Brighton or DOHCEJ22E1 to know everything about your car you would have never guessed ☺
Brighton96
Do you have the stubby injectors like the 2.2L has or the long skinny ones that the 2.5L has? There were only two styles so you just have to match the cs's as close as you can. So the injectors can technically be for any Subaru from that generation, the NA smaller displacements were like <300cc's and I think NA 2.5s were a little higher, and then I turbo applications are higher than that, but I don't know the exact figure. Brighton, you are right about that. No need to go straight JDM for replacements. They are side mount injectors, which were used on a lot of older Subaru models. In fact, you can get a set of 4 550cc injectors on eBay for around $70 to test. https://www.ebay.com/itm/142059682534
JazzAvi8r
I have a set of injectors from 94' EJ22. no idea if they'll work for your application, but if you do adequate research and find that they will suffice, i'd be happy to send them to you for practically nothing.
