Camber and Caster adjustment

Recommended Posts

For camber, the stock camber bolt has plenty of adjustment, otherwise, that in concert with camber plates if you're running coilovers would be the only way to get more besides using the Whiteline Com-C tophats as mentioned below.

For caster, our only option is the AVO bushing that comes in 0 and +0.5 degree options.

For both camber and caster additions in a single product, Whiteline Com-C tophats. But something worries me about that listing. I know for sure that the 2008-2014 WRX uses different tophats than us, and they are listed in the fitment chart. And the Whiteline Australia website lists no Com-C product for us.

These may work.

Huge thanks, gTeaser. The reason I ask is when I got an alignment a while back they said my caster was just a half degree out of spec. He said if I was getting coil overs it would fix the problem or at least make it fixable. I am doing more research and getting pretty close to deciding on going with air but I want to have all the necessary parts ready to install when the time comes.

raider600 - good question. You will need adjustable rear lower control arms to get camber adjustment in the rear. Check this thread for more on that.

EDIT: Damn G beat me to it but still take a look at the link.

I can't believe that your caster on both sides is that out of spec. Do you have your alignment sheet? Fixing caster with coilovers really isn't what you want to be doing, it requires turning the camber plate 120 degrees in the strut tower and then you are relegated to directly linking camber to caster. Camber plates are meant to do just what the name says..."camber plate" and the adjustment slot should be oriented 90 degrees to the longitudinal axis of the car.
