On the plus side I dropped off my STi cooler and my wife let it slip that she is ordering my a V style lip for my car for Christmas ! They would have to fab a custom coolant line for it to work on our engine. My OEM cooler is supposed to be in tomorrow . Fingers crossed . At most they have to cut a new section of hose. The metal pipe off the water pump snakes behind the front mount. This turns into a hose section which connects to the oil cooler. Becks1818 Posted December 6, 2017 Author Share Posted December 6, 2017 Engine is being installed as I type this! Hopefully they will have it running today! Praying there are no more delays and that the startup goes off with an issue . When I looked at the block and pistons with the heads off (should have taken pictures [emoji17]) the top of the pistons had next to no carbon and the cylinder walls had beautiful cross hatching. It looked almost new. After start up they just have to install my boost gauge and wideband (too cold for me to do it now, plus no time with the new baby) and they are done !
