hal9e3
So I fragged my battery by leaving the manually operated interior roof lights on and now I have a problem with the sunroof. The front section won't tilt up when I try to close it so the rear portion hits it, then retreats so the roof is open about a foot's worth. I haven't taken a crack at trying to fix it but any ideas? Dead motor? Fuse (seems unlikely the front and rear sections have separate fuses)? Just needs a good whack?
hal9e3
OK, here's how I hacked this to at least not be driving around al fresco: 1) Removed the front sunroof panel, couple of plastic pieces and 4 bolts. 2) Closed the rear sunroof panel, which can now move to the fully closed position. 3) Reinstalled the front sunroof panel. 4) Managed to jam the rear panel's rubber sesl somewhere in the roof's nether regions so sealed up the seam with foil tape. 5) Intended to remove the sunroof's fuse to make sure it couldn't be opened but found it was used for everything from the ECU to the brake switch, etc, so disconnected the sunroof switch.
