rreyes
I have a 2013 subaru legacy and had a minor accident. Since then I get the check engine light on and the code p0010 on the computer. I am trying to fix this problem myself but I do not know where to start. I am trying to find the camshaft circuit but cannot find it. Any help will be appreciated. MilesA
The oil control valve should be on the front of the engine, close to the top-mount oil filter. Part is referenced as #9 in the diagram below. Original P/N: 10921AA230 Revised P/N: 10921AA240 You should confirm the wiring harness is connected and is in good shape. You might need to replace the oil control valve. You may want to confirm with your dealer this is the correct revised part number.
rreyes
I already changed the part for a new one I got from the dealer. I still have the same problem. I checked the wires and everything else seems ok. Already reset the computer and still the same code comes up
cww516
If you've cleared the code and replaced the part, I'd suspect that there's an intermittent connection in the harness somewhere. I don't have access to any wiring schematics at the moment to give you a suggestion on where to start, though.
