Once you feel the boost...your not gonna want to go back... Former Accord driver myself, albeit, a pretty old Accord, it was a 92' EX Coupe 5-Spd. Probably one of the best cars I'll ever own, had timeless styling, gave me 50K miles of trouble free service. I bought it w/ 100K on it...sold it with 150K still feeling it could do another 100K easily.

But the Legacy is another level in terms of power and individuality...

Thank you guys for the comments. I'm no stranger to fast cars though. The only reason I have an accord now is due to divorce recovery time. I had to sell my Stillen supercharged 2000 Maxima SE which I dearly loved. I just needed something sensible to get me through the lean years. I am very happily remarried now and it's time to get a car for ME! :)

If all goes well (and when does it?) I will be following something along the likes of PLTech's (sp?) GT3071 turboed LGT. I will be going for 400whp hopefully! Ah, to dream...anyway, I've got to get the car first! I've got to keep focused here!

ha ha! me too. Dad had a leased '91 Accord EX 5 speed Coupe that I loved. It was "my" car the last year he had it. That was, in my opinion, the best looking body style they ever made (90?, 91, 92, 93) and was a fun car to drive. Good memories in that car. :)

Ah. Thanks for the interest in my other cars. Don't be expecting to be all too terribly impressed though. It's not like I used to have a 9sec Bently or anything.

'78 Buick Century w/built SBC. Ran mid 13's @ a little over 100mph. POS really but it was a good place to begin at as a kid. BTW, when I first got that car premium gas was 0.77/gal. Wow!

90 Taurus SHO with all the bolt-on goodies and the infamous LogiCams. Basically regrinds. It was very fast (never ran it at the track though) and smoked a few 5.0s in it's day. 8500rpm was fun! The Yamaha engine was a true gem but everything else was typical Ford. I tortured that car and it showed over the years. Damn the foolishness of youth!

My favorite was the Maxima though. I had all the bolt-on goodies and the Stillen/Vortec SC @ 9psi of boost. Again, I never got it to the strip but others on maxima.org with similar setups ran VERY low 13's @ 107-108ish. I don't doubt it either. Too bad it had to go after the divorce. I spent $16,000 fighting that wench so that I could be with my children as much as possible. I will always be able to tell my kids that I did everything I possibly could for them. Can't put a pricetag on that can you? I'll get off my soapbox now....:)

If things go well enough for me to do what I want to regarding the LGT I'll be shooting for 11's with it. It's good to have goals!

That's funny, I just got out of a 93' accord coupe for the LGT. I do'nt see too many coupes from those years. It does seem like it will drive on forver though.... my dad decided to keep it since we were gonna get almost nothing for it.

I think they had some sort of promotion for the 24hr test drive a month or so ago. I just called up the salesman I had worked with before and it was like taking candy from a baby. Unfortunately, when I went in on Saturday to deal with them they wouldn't give me anywhere near a fair trade-in price for my accord so we left after a few rounds of bantering.

The funny thing was that when I went to pick the car up for the test drive they thought I was talking about an 06. They didn't even know that they had a left over 05 on their lot and when we went to the back lot to find it it was all covered in dirt. No one had touched that car for months. Then they had the gaul to try to ask sticker for it! HA! Whatever. They're going to be calling me back soon to try again I'm sure. The salesman even said so as he walked us out. I love having the power to say no. I'm holding the cards in this deal. It will be on my terms...sooner or later.

As for the SHO, yeah. Traction sucked with all that power. LSD is a MUST in any high performance car, especially a FWD one. That's why I want AWD. I'm sick of spinning. One last thing on the SHO, did you ever work with Vadim at the SHO Shop? He is an awesome guy. He bent over backwards to make parts for such a limited niche and he did it for cheap too! I miss people like that....
