NA_SUBARU
Long story short, I have a 2005 Legacy 2.5i ( As basic as it gets ) And I want to start off with swapping out my radio for an 2008 Legacy radio W/ Aux inputs. (Goal is to be able to listen to music on my iphone) Biggest question would be How do I install an aux input on my 2008 radio?
Waxiboy
Replace the radio with aftermarket. Most online retailers like Crutchfield will throw in an installation kit for free. Google Scosche SU2025B.
NA_SUBARU
Id like to keep the OEM look, so I bought a radio from a 2008 Legacy. Any ideas of how to make my aux in situation work with the 08 radio?
apexi
I think this would work with the 2008 radio, but I'm not sure if your 2005 wiring harness will be compatible. https://gromaudio.com/store/aux1_adapters/grom-aux1-sub08.html?pk_campaign=gshopping
TonyF
why not get a bluetooth fm transmitter, no need to change the radio for aux input that way
apexi
I agree, I thought about suggesting that too.. I remembered hearing the quality with those can be poor sometimes, so I assumed that might be why he'd rather go with an aux in setup.

SweetJustice
I used one of these kits on my '06 LGT, and I love it. He's out of stock, but there are other similar options.
