Sirotkin from Russia got Massa’s seat due being able to bring at least 10 million GBP more than Robert could. Kubica will have to earn his right to drive an F1 car in 2019 by performing better than Sergey and Lance in testing, etc. We shall see. My fingers are crossed! I almost wonder if this 'interview' weren't written for Lewis by his PR people. So many positive comments about the other guys. Whoever wrote this is right though, these 4 will hopefully make the 2018 a spectacle! Is McLaren fast now? I ******* hope so! I so hope that Alonso can get back to being on the top. Love that guy! So many wasted opportunities/seasons, none really due to his skill. If Vettel and Hamilton had good luck during the past 10 years, Alonso's luck has clearly turned sour shortly after his 2nd title. Probably not consistently at least due to motor (or is it powerplant, nowadays?) issues. It will hurt their time getting the setup right in practice if they have such issues, especially in the later half of the season with only 3 motors for the season. Unless Renault get's better reliability, the best McLaren and Red Bull can hope for is occasional wins but not a title chase. I wonder how the manufacturers will deal with going down to only three motors per season. I would think they will have to reduce power, but who will reduce it more? I just read an article where two grid girls were pissed that they lost their jobs and the PC movement is making decisions for them.
