baconbits
I think Ocon pinched Grosjean a little but who knows. I didn't agree with that 10 second penalty either, especially if Grosjean had a puncture. Kimi delivered a solid 3rd place so I was happy about that. I'm still lightly salted about Ferrari's strategy at Monaco that kind of stole the win from Kimi but considering Vettel was thoroughly in the title race with Hamilton at the time, I could see the strategy goof compounded with Vettel's skill... tytek
Excellent race to watch live. Hamilton was absolutely incredible, as much as it pains me to admit it. The crowd was on their feet during the last few laps, as he was closing in on Kimi. BTW, it was not me... holding things up. But I did break onto the track after the race ended. Even got a pic with a DRS sign that someone snatched from the side of the track. Massa got a fantastic send off by the fans after he walked out to the podium post coronation. He was quite emotional, just like last time that he retired. Edited November 13, 2017 by tytek
tytek
Looks like Kubica will be driving for Williams as Massa’s replacement. Can’t wait if it is indeed true. Plan to see him live in either Melbourne or SPA next year.

KartRacerBoy
So basically you have to pay to join a F1 team? It doesn't matter if you can drive or not. Not for the top teams, but it certainly helps the drivers' pay packets if they do.
KartRacerBoy
Williams is pushing its second driver decision to January. They say it will be based on pure performance, but given the state of the team, I'm thinking that Massa is right and its a money based decision. They are going to see whose check is bigger and clears first. https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/williams-2018-driver-announcement-delayed-until-january-988860/

KartRacerBoy
Ferrari still pretending it would quit F1. Frankly, I'd love to see them gone if just to balance out the field with a more fair distribution of money to the teams. And then watch them come begging back to enter a few years later. Freaking Eye-talians. And they call South Americans drama queens. https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/f...h-fire-989520/
