Will these fit how I want them to?

2.5i

Recommended Posts

I have a stock 2008 2.5i with stock suspension. Everything I've seen is for 2.5 GTs and don't know if it's any different for a 2.5i. I'm looking at getting Enkei TS10s, but don't know whether I need 8 inches wide or 8.5. The wheel specs are 18x8 +45 or 18x8.5 +45. I plan on running 225/40/18 tires also. Not looking at pulling/rolling fenders though.

The pictures are what I'm looking to achieve for fitment (just not on springs/coilovers)

Someone will likely correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty certain that the Legacy GT shares the exact same body (other than the vented hood) as the other Legacys so fitment wise it will be the same.

I have a set of 17x8 et35 with 215/45/17 tires on stock suspension and have no rubbing issues at all. You should be fine with both of the wheel and tire set ups that you're considering as they will be slightly less aggressive as mine.

Body and suspension are identical as far as wheel fitment is concerned. 8.5 +45 may require some fender work. I'm unsure if you'll have the room on the inside where the wheel can potentially contact the strut housing since you're staying stock.

I'm running 17x8 +47 and didn't need to do any modifications to the body to sit how you'd like.

Shouldn't require much fender work if at all. Running 18x8.5 +47 with 235/40/18 runner on mine so you'll be 2mm further out for the rim but easily make that back with the 225/40/18's.

I have got camber bushes in the rear but nothing other than stock camber adjustment in the front without fender rolling. Well worth getting some form of camber adjustment in the rear regardless as there isn't any From stock.
