mclarenf3
I debadged the trunk of my Legacy yesterday, and I used the hot air gun, dental floss, and Goo Gone method. The emblems and glue came off relatively easy. I then gave the car a wash and applied some wax (just turtle wax and a microfiber cloth). When I look at the car trunk normally, I don't see any issues and it looks clean. However, when I place my fingers over the spot, I can feel a very faint ridge where the emblems were. I can also clearly see the letters at certain angles under certain light. Any tips on what to do here? I'm not someone who usually waxes there car (just usual car washes) so I'm not too familiar if I have to do more with that or if it's more severe than that. Any tips on what I should do? laz
You may need to wet sand and polish that part. ---
Eugene Onegin
I would consult a good detailer .
mclarenf3
I'll look into both of those. If it's something I can do myself without major investment in detailing tools, I am down with DIY.
