ATL08SpecB
I have searched up and down and still can't decide which tires size to go with. I've been driving up in the mountains more and was a little more meat on the road. I was wondering if anyone out there has put 225s on the stock B wheel. More options in 40, but the roads around here aren't the best and the 45 would give me a little more sidewall.
Dispatch20
225 45 18 fits and is a good choice. I ran this tire size to get a little more meat to help with potholes. I think it looks better, too.
98legwag
If I ever go back to my stock 3.0R Limited wheels (same specs as the spec b wheels) I will run a 225/45/18.
hybridandy
I've always run 225/40/18's on my stock '06 SpecB wheels (since they're usually a few dollars cheaper) but I recently got a really good price on 225/45/18's and they fit just fine. No rubbing at stock ride height and if the speedo's off any, I can't tell.
TheMonaLisa
I bought my 08 spec B with 215/45/18 on the stock wheels. It was lowered on coilers and rubbed like crazy. Had stock camber in the front. Previous owned had cut the fender liners but was still rubbing on the wheel well. First thing i did was ditch the oversized tires. Ive always run 225/40/18 without a problem, both stock hight with stock camber and lowered with varying amounts of camber.
