csaari
Relative good news Subaru fam - Went to back to the mechanic this morning and he told me 1) it is an OEM turbo replacement and 2) the timing belt has been changed recently. So I'm going to take everyones advice and just drive it and maintain it. I'm going to take some of the oil and send it off to be tested to see if I should consider going ahead and replacing the engine. Now it is time to get a new radio to replace the OEM one... Also, gotta love indy shops. He only charge me $80 to inspect, clear the code, and replace a clamp on the turbo. He knows he'll be getting my future business. AllPro is a fantastic shop, they really know their stuff! I highly recommend them, they've done some work on my '05 wagon over the years. One of only two shops I let work on my car.
