Aus30R
September 2018: Sooooo the new blue car is gone. I did a deal with a mate which worked for both of us. I sold him the blue car, got my money back and ended up with these two. Basically the black car is the same as the current car, just black. It's also VERY rough cosmetically wise. The Daihatsu will be used for parts / manual swap for my little one. The black car won't be here for long, if anything it'll be gone before the end of the week. Mechanically the car is actually in good shape with 200od thousand kms on the clock. It also had a neat golfer radiator.

Aus30R
Curious how the 3.0 compares to a 2.5 turbo Yeah its a hard one. Mine will eat a stock GT-B, but the thing is its SO much easier to make power in a GT, I've basically gone as far as I can without going forced induction, even then, 270WKW is pretty much the max. Aus30R
December 2018: Much to my surprise I've only done 4,800km's in my car in the last 13 months meaning that it's been that long since I've done my last service. So fairly overdue. I've found out my oil filter has actually been leaking, which has been flicking oil onto the drivers side header. Anyway, popped the car up on stands. Drip, drip. Draining out. Quick clean of the plug with a new washer. Genuine is best. New filter on. Plug on and oil in. The usual Penrite 10w-50 While the car was running a little low from the leak I've always been pretty good at keeping it topped up anyway. Hopefully no damage. The oil that came out looked ok. I've got to be honest, lately I've been pretty non interested in the car. I haven't felt the way I've felt for it in the past. It's pretty likely 2019 will be my last year with it. I've learned a lot and enjoyed it but it's never felt like a forever car. However, there is a very big round of things ready to happen to the car, I've just been gathering parts for the last 6 months, but after that the big mods anyway will likely stop, or maybe they won't, time will tell. So this is what's now waiting to go on the car. - Replacement MY07 6MT Transmission - Subaru R180 LSD Differential - Mantic Stage-1 ms1-2133-box clutch - Hel Braided clutch-line - AVO Rear Underbody Brace kit - Hardrace rear camber arms 8891 (Hardened Rubber) - Hardrace rear front lateral rams 6834 (Hardened Rubber) - Hardrace rear rear lateral arms 6834-H (Pillow Ball) - Whiteline lockout kit KCA307 - Whiteline Crossmember Pad Bushing KDT901 - Whiteline Rack and Pinion Bush KSR207 - Cusco Rack Brace - Cusco Rear Pillow Ball endlinks - STI Group N Transmission Mount - Cobb Double Adjustable Short Shifter - Cobb Transmission Shifter Bushing - Cobb Transmission Selector Bushing - Output Motorsports reverse-lockout - NGK Laser Iridium ILFR6B spark plugs
SBT
Nice mod "TO-DO" list. BTW - Is there a sound clip anywhere of this gem? Apologies if I missed that, but interested to hear what your setup sounds like. - Pro amore Dei et patriam et populum -

Aus30R
December 2018: The car was feeling great after the service so I thought I'd take it on a no destination drive. I ended driving around for like almost 5 hours. Remember when I said I wasn't feeling the same about the car, well, after a drive I felt the way I used to feel. God this car is amazing to drive! Anyway, here are some pics from the trip.

Aus30R
January 2019: Happy New Year everyone! My brother and I took the advantage of a quiet early morning today to take the wagon and my bike out for a cruise around the Royal National Park. I haven't given the car a real corner fang for a while, even with a wacky rear alignment it handled like it was on rails. I really see why people say what a difference a rear swaybar can make. I can't wait to take it around again when all the new goodies are on. Speaking of goodies. Bits from CMA finally came.
