I recently took a shot and picked up some $150 JDM HIDs from a Texas based eBay seller and they were decent! Be sure to look over the photos some of their listings have obvious scratches. Figured I'd share these before they bump up their prices.

The ones I bought included the bulbs, ballast, leveling motor, and wiring pigtails!

Is there a quick and easy way to correct these from RHD pattern to LHD pattern? Or would I still be taking them apart and putting in new projectors?

Is there a quick and easy way to correct these from RHD pattern to LHD pattern? Or would I still be taking them apart and putting in new projectors?

 

There are four options:

1) Flip the shields. This gives pretty crappy performance but works.

2) Use USDM Halogen shields. Slightly more work, but slightly better focus.

3) Custom sields. Cut out a portion of the stock on an ether mount a mini h1 shield or make a custom curved one out of thin metal. If you change the lens out to a "black series clear lens" from TheRetrofitSource this results is a world class setup, but it requires a LOT of work and tuning.

4) Projector swap. You can go a simple as plug and play mini H1 7.0's with comertially avlable brackets and elctrical adapters, to as complex as a TSX or RX350 retrofit. I'm in the process of developing a mini d2s 4.0 bracket system that requires very minimal trimming of the high beam if you want to try that.
