El_Guero Posted April 27, 2017 Share Posted April 27, 2017 As the title says, I have an 05 LGt. It currently has an Invidia UpPipe and DownPipe mated to a megan catback exhaust. There is a PLX wideband 02 in the stock DP position currently feeding a 0-1V signal to the ECU and a 0-5V signal to a gauge. This is my first foray into the software side of modding, and so far I have been leaning toward Opensource because I like to see how things are working. I have a few questions, please feel free to call me a noob and direct me to pages/books/gurus on mountaintops. Can the open/closed loop fueling issue be overcome with Opensource? What methods of Boost control yield the best results with Opensource? Can Opensource accommodate a flex-fuel tune? Generally - What are Opensource's limitations? Also - where can I find a primer to tuning? Does anyone have a good book to recommend? EDIT: I got Ecuflash and RomRaider working without much hassle, so I've got that under my belt.
