Brian3
Having trouble finding ANY cat-back or cold air intake kits for the 09 3.0r, anyone know if parts for the GT fit, not sure about the intake bit reasonably sure the exhaust is the same? CapnJack
There is not very much aftermarket support for the 3.0R state side. I don't think you'll see much if any performance benefit from a CAI. The intakes on these cars are pretty good from the factory. if you are looking at making more noise, I think you can retrofit a GT one. The exhausts are different between the 3.0 and the GT. The midpipe is a different length. You could purchase a GT catback and take it to a good exhaust shop and they could cut it and refit it though. There are a couple of folks that are tuning the 3.0R platform now on the forums. Subaru left a little bit on the table from a performance aspect that can be tuned in. You would then have to always put in premium fuel and would lose the option to go with a lesser grade.
whitetiger
bolt-ons mean nothing without a tune. if you can find a tuner who can open-source tune you, then talk about bolt-ons with them.
98legwag
I have Turbo XS axle backs on my 3.0R. Any bolt on axle back for a GT will also work on a 3.0R.
