sootymay
Ok. So I have a problem with a Subaru Liberty (im Australian so it's that here. lol) I have included a video that i made today to show the noise / clunk / shudder that's coming from the rear of the car. For now I have actually put in the FWD fuse and the car isn't making a noise. we actually just got it from my cousin, as it was my grandmothers car, so it's had two owners and been in the family since it came out the factory. Any input would be great, so we can get it fixed and I can take the fuse back out. Both my mechanical minded uncles couldn't work out what it was, and much to their dismay as their niece I am quite proud I thought to try the fuse trick. wtdash
Hi, If you have the AT Temp or Power light (key ON, engine OFF), does it flash 16 times when you start up the car? Whether it does or does NOT, read up on THESE INSTRUCTIONS to get the codes from the TCM/TCU - transmission computer. Let us know what ye find. G'day Sheila! P.s. My wife is from Darwin>Brisbane....so hopefully I used that correctly.
SuperSub
I watched the video but was a little hard to diagnose from it. Couple of things I could think of would be diff bushes on one side failing or could be torque bind from the centre diff. Does it make the noise while turning slowly in a certain direction?
