howardman
So I live in CT and we salt the ever-loving hell out of our roads when it snows or is icy. I would prefer that all that salt and dirt and garbage not fly all over my car quite as much. Anyone recommend front and rear mud guard brands? I'm not really looking for rally flaps or something crazy aggressive, preferable a nice looking and functional molded mud flap that will fit an 08 lgt. Thanks for any advice or experiences. theGeneral
In the past I have gone and bought cheap, rubber, mud flaps and cut them to the size that I wanted. You can't tell me that flat rubber is any different between Rally Armor and some rubber flaps from autozone.

DonnyJagaru
Cheap rubber, pair for $9. Drill holes to match factory holes (two per fender). I drilled a third hole near the lower one to secure them better. Extra hole drilled in fender is into plastic so no corrosion worries. Used plastic push-plugs to secure. They've been in place for four winters now but have replaced at least 3 push plugs as they do come undone when you back into snowbanks.
