DrD123
What size are you looking to run (235/40-18?) - 7" is a bit narrow for that size. If you go to tire rack, or most manufacturer sites, they'll tell you what range rims will work with the tire. Take the continental extremecontact dws06 - in 235/40-18, it has a rim width range of 8-9.5". Same deal for the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ or any other tire I looked at. At 7" you'd be an inch under the recommended minimum.
