valleylegacy
Ordered up a set of used 08 JDM BPE Spec B 3.0R rear seats and got the head rests separately. They are a little better than the GT non limited version. All black and silver stitching on the head rests. They also have a reclining feature. I ordered up the rails for it. valleylegacy
Do these special rear seats only come in black? There a variety of different seats and materials from the various JDM BP5 Legacy Wagon models from 03-08. I found that most of the 2.0R, 3.0R Spec B wagons in Japan have black perforated cloth seats with silver stitching. Then there is a leather option with black alcantara. Then the 2.0 GT BP5 has similar seats to the USDM non-limited legacy GT cars. Then there is a 2.0 GT SPEC B Sedan and Wagon that got the leather with blue alcantara. And the Tuned By STI got a different leather with Alcantara and the S402 also has different material. There the 2.5i and other trim like the blitzen model they all have various different seats and its tough to keep track of which is which. The seats I pulled also do come in TAN. Oh and then the Outback models also have their own different seats.

valleylegacy
Today the ride was picked up by the towing company and off to get her paint job. I was told about 3-4 weeks of work. The paint job will be extensive and include door jams, and other portions of the car that will be restored as there plenty of door dings and little minor body work needed to be ironed out. Ill update soon with the new photos. Â The JDM rear fog was a particularly interesting hurdle to jump. The EDM LHD Legacy has the correct stalk. However the rear fog switch is spring loaded and when wired up with a simple ground and relay it works but doesn't stay on unless you hold the switch in the "on" position. So Adan @AQMOTORSPORTS figured to add an additional relay to allow the switch to read on and off depending on when you activate the spring loaded switch. So far I cannot say anything less than ADAN is truly a Subaru Master Tech who can pretty much figure out or modify anything you need while keeping it OEM. His knowledge of the RHD and LHD cars differences is immense and he also has performed complete RHD swaps. But the best part of his business is the value and fairness he brings to the table. He was exceptionally fairly priced for all the work he did. I'm very thankful to have such a masterful technician close to my residence. magnusonsubie
Did Adan end up wiring the second relay as a sort of latch for the relay that triggers the rear fog to turn on that when it receives a second high signal of the switch turning on it turns off? I've been thinking about how to do mine and have contemplated using an Arduino to run it. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
jam007
Adan is the man. I have taken my Subarus to him whenever I did not have the time to work on them, and he has always given me a decent price.

famaya26
I did....just do it, I have now spent way more on upgrades/mods then the purchase price of my car. I feel as if I should have waited and just bought a spec B. or a legacy with a blown motor and built it from the start. Honestly after what Valley Legacy did, that seems like the best route. Cheap shell and then just transfer over the parts. LOL

Andy_Mac
Alcantara wrapped headliner will look mint. What are you doing for the pillars? Had to Alcantara wrap my ones as I couldn't get a set of black ones with pillar airbags.
