valleylegacy
So I opted to go with front and rear Cusco Sway bars. I believe the front is - 21mm and the front is 23mm also added the aluminum control arms and put in new bushings. The struts and springs I opted for were the JDM BP5 Wagon Bilsteins + STI Pink Springs. The version of the struts is for REV E which is pretty much the last revision they had. Cusco Front 23MM Sway bar - 684 311 A23 Cusco Rear 21MM Sway bar - 684 311 B21 JDM Legacy Wagon Rev. F Bilsteins + OEM JDM SPEC B WAGON SPRINGS - PINKS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. valleylegacy
Acquired the Black "Tuned By STI" A,B,C,D pillar parts for the interior. A,B are not shown as they are still on the way from Japan. Also got the Tuned By STI Badge for the rear gate. I ended up using the HKS JDM Intercooler designed for the EJ20Y and it is larger with a different bracket and so it required the carbon fiber engine cover for proper fitment. Also will be adding a Laile Beatrush radiator shroud + Koyo V series Radiator. Edited July 10, 2017 by valleylegacy

valleylegacy
Since I will be using the JDM rear bumper the options for the rear crash beam were as follows. 1. Cut up your USDM rear crash beam to fit on the JDM wagon bumper. 2. Possibly the USDM LGT Sedan rear crash beam fits like a glove on the JDM rear Wagon Bumper. (Not confirmed) 3. Purchase the EDM Legacy Wagon rear crash beam as it does use the JDM specification rear bumper and has a crash beam designed for it. 4. Use the Beatrush Laile rear end support arm bar. However the USDM Wagon mounting holes are too narrow and small so grinding cutting is required. I chose to go with option 3. I will update it when I get it installed. valleylegacy
Now using the JDM wiring was going to be a tough one as we had to remove the entire harness from the USDM car. But this will allow me to use the JDM Headlights plug and play and also the leveling feature plus the power folding mirrors! Hector at AQ Motorsports doing his magic. Final product. It's all wired up correctly. Here you can sort of see the Beatrush Laile Forged Aluminum Pitch Stop Rod. Part Number - S146010BC-AD And you can see the STI Mesh Clutch hose Edited July 10, 2017 by valleylegacy
valleylegacy
Now I really wanted to use the Rear Fog Feature so I sourced the 07 JDM BP5 Rear gate garnish + rear fog and the EDM LHD turn signal stalk that has the rear fog switch and it just needs to be wired up. 06-08 JDM BP5 Legacy Rear Gate Garnish + Rear Foglight Part Number - 91710AG080 - will be repainted In order to use the rear fog you will need a EDM LHD turn signal stalk with the switch. I sourced it from Europe for myself and few other guys. 03-05 EDM LHD turn signal stalk + rear fog switch Part Number - 83114AG151 Painted REV D-F rear garnish! valleylegacy
Some of the last parts to go in will be a JDM HKS TMIC kit that is designed for the EJ20Y. Also beatrush transmission carrier bushings. I have a Koyo Radiator + samco hoses installed as well. The car is about 90% complete now. AQ Motorsports told me that the car should be ready mid next week. Can't wait to see the STI Recaro seat install! Then the next step will be a tune and she's off to get her paint job. WRX USA
Are you going RHD, or do you just plan on installing the harness backwards so that the harness connections are where you need them for LHD?
valleylegacy
The car is remaining LHD. AQ Motorsports was able to install the JDM Harness backward and extend certain wires and also repin a few to make everything work.

valleylegacy
I finally got the JDM headlights on and there was something I completely forgot about and thanks to @wrx usa for the pictures of his set up that clarified what my issue was. The JDM Headlights outer mounting tab fits to the JDM bumper unlike the USDM 05-07 headlights which mount all to the front frame. For a second I thought I had frame damage or that there as some defect in my car as I couldn't get it to mount correctly. Any of you doing the JDM facelift swap on your 05-07 please take note. s2baru
I'm a bit shocked that you're going through all of this and sticking with SWP for the paint. Weren't considering any others or custom mixes of a factory color?
valleylegacy
Well I have had a few people tell me go WRB...but I've always liked white Wagons and I think down the road it's easier to replace parts (body wise) with a color code that is here in USA. SWP doesn't come on any Legacy BP BL model in Japan. Plus I know that if I ever wanted to sell this car after it's built...White Wagons with a EJ20Y + Tuned By STI 6MT package will be an easy sell. The Korean
Ahh so you're the one I've been hearing about haha. A couple buddies have been telling me Adan is working on another LGT Wagon. Originally we all thought you were going to RHD swap since you bought the entire clip. Anyways, the build looks awesome and looks like Adan cleaned up the warehouse for way more room. Tell him Jonny Walker said hello when you see him again! Let him know my wagon is running perfectly and that I'll probably stop buy in the next couple months. Keep up the awesome build man! Yo good to hear from you man. Yeah this build is going to be epic and probably the only one like it in Los Angeles. It's been going really well. Can't wait till I get the seats in and get the car repainted. It's been an awesome journey. The car started up the other day and sounds amazing. I'll let him know you said what up. The Korean
You still have the leaf? Glad you finally got back in a Subie after all these years! BTW, I just went on Beatrush's website and went a smidge crazy with a shopping cart so I must thank you for that. Lastly, if you have time do you think you could track me down a JDM BP5 Rear gate garnish + rear fog in Regal Blue?
