Jhammers Posted January 13, 2017 Share Posted January 13, 2017 I just brought my first subi it's a 2001 legacy wagon I love it, but I've noticed one weird issue. When I open any of the doors on the car, the dome light dims. Is this because I may need a new battery or is there something else that could be the issue? ehsnils Posted January 17, 2017 Share Posted January 17, 2017 Check if you have more lights that comes on when you open the door, like lights in the door. But there may be a timer on the interior lighting as well that is involved. A new battery is indicated when the engine don't crank as well as it used to.
