Surfcast23
Hi all, My 2006 is in need of a new set of shocks and struts. I would appreciate suggestions on good, not very expencive, stock replacement or a slight upgrade to the stock system. Thanks in advance
Dishwasher
Koni cut-a-struts are nice if you feel like doing the work yourself or you have a trusted mechanic. Bilsteins are a mild upgrade as well with OEM fitment. Tons of spring options. Lots of good info on the suspension forum.
relative4
KYB is the standard recommendation for stock replacement. I found they vibrated a lot. I used Monroes and was very happy. Sent from my SM-J700T using Tapatalk
Surfcast23
Will look into the KYB's and Monroes
Holla
I'm currently using the KYB Excel G's, which are essentially oem replacements. I've had them for about 30k now with no issues. Keep an eye on Amazon for a set, I think I got all 4 for $200 shipped a couple of years ago. I'm lowered in the front on Epic springs and I run the stock springs in the rear on my wagon. Koni's are definitely a better shock but they're also double the price, same with the Bilsteins.
Surfcast23
Seeing how I have 135k in the clock I think I'm going to go with the least expensive option. Thanks everyone
Surfcast23
Do the KYB AGX's fit the fourth gen cars?
