Whopper
Hello, I am currently into another project on this car but just wondered if anyone has any input on this problem. So I just bought the car and the e-break wont work. On the dash it show that the brake is in but its not and im 100% sure that the break is not in. When I pull it the car dose not break at all. I think that the cable is broken somewhere. Any impute? Edit: is the e-brake hydraulic and the pedal a cable or vise versa or are they both the same? Brighton96
Well on the second gens it's a cable brake so I don't see why the 94 would be different. But the cables stretch/break with age, you can try adjusting it at the back of the hubs on the rear or you can just replace it. They route the cable through the interior so you will have to pull up the carpets and stuff to get access to it.

Brighton96
Of course! The interior is really easy to pull out, the cable runs under the carpet until the back of the rear seats and then it pops out the bottom of the car. I haven't replaced the cables before but it looks like it'd be pretty painless.
