Ive had my 08 legacy GT custom tuned when i did my catback and bov(which has actually come off now), but im just wondering whether I need to retune after putting in a new downpipe and front mount intercooler? cryo Posted December 18, 2016 Share Posted December 18, 2016 yup, dp requires a full retune due to the reduced backpressure in the exhaust as well as boost control and higher loads. The FMIC requires a retune to utilize the cooler intake charge as well as to try and adjust it to spool better due to the increased piping etc. Hope that helps and if you need anything let us know, we have quite a few NZ customers.
