GTEASER
moved to 5th gen forum. My reply in the ancient thread you bumped. Holy bump from the dead Batman!!! This would be about your only option aside from full aftermarket rally suspension and will raise you up about 2-3". http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/project-legacy-gt-outback-begins-244041.html?t=244041&highlight=gt+outback Alternatively, you could go with tophat spacers if all you want is 1" or so of lift. I have 1" strut spacers and like them. I think the thread G linked is the only example of someone using Outback suspension.
YeuEmMaiMai
why not use the outback suspension?
cww516
A 1" lift is within the range that the stock Legacy suspension components can deal with (maybe need adjustable rear LCAs), but if you swap in Outback struts, you'll need Outback rear UCAs and a handful of other components in order to get camber and toe back into acceptable ranges. driven3
Outback suspension will get you plenty high. It changes the car completely. I used 2014 Outback Springs and KYB struts, along with Outback rear lca and toe bars. I am within specs everywhere on the alignment sheet.
