strikerusn
It's been a hectic month. Car was making a weird noise at first and that weird noise become into a knock. So currently the car will be sitting till I decide if I want to continue to work on it. Does anyone know about how much a head costes plus labor? ehsnils
So that's basically rebuilding the head? Depends on what needs to be done and how much you can do yourself. Minimum for a head is replacing seals, re-seating valves and checking/adjusting clearances. Step up is to also replacing the valve guides, which may or may not be needed. How far you need to go depends on what you discover when you have removed the head and disassembled it.
