Grafton
http://i.imgur.com/sy0opQS.png 2017 will be the 16th consecutive year that we will be holding The 48hrs of Tristate Annual Charity Drive, happening Jan 12-15th 2017. This annual group drive includes about 1,000 miles of driving spread over 3 days. We kick it off with Breakfast and a Meet & Greet and door prize raffle with Subaru of America Executives at the Subaru of America, Inc. Headquarters in Cherry Hill, NJ. From there we will take a short trip to Make-A-Wish New Jersey who is a chapter for the charity we are supporting this year for a tour of their facilities and possible make a few wishes come true. Then we jump in our Subies and head for the highways and back road as we group drive up into the Adirondack Mountain Resort of Dunham's Bay in Lake George. Saturday we will work our way through the Adirondack Mountains of NY and the Green Mountains of Vermont on our way for a private tour of Vermont SportsCar which is always a fun filled portion of the trip. The schedule has us arriving at the Hotel in Burlington, VT around 6pm on Saturday night and this will allow plenty of time to get a good dinner with new and old friends. Not only is this trip an amazing way to see the scenic winterscapes but it is an opportunity for you to help give back to the community. All registrants are required to sign up through our link to Make-A-Wish America, a charity which makes "wishes" for children with life threatening medical conditions. The donations you make to MAW act as your "entry fee” for the event. They are also tax deductible! There are all different folks who attend the trip, young adults, families, retirees, you name it, if they enjoy Subarus they are there. We caravan in groups of 10-15 cars and communicate from car to car via CB radios. People share stories during the trip and many folks have made lifelong friends through the past events. It is truly an amazing way folks bond together! This year we will be doing lots and lots of miles for charity! Our travels will take from Subaru Headquarters up to the Adirondack Mountains to Vermont Sports Car where they build all the Subaru Rally cars for the US. The trip will encompass both highway and back roads driving and will culminate with the closing dinner in the Hudson Valley! If your interested sign up to register on our site 48hrs.info if you have any questions, feel free to post here or on the events facebook page: Facebook.com

STX 195
First of all, thank you for all your efforts in putting this event together. While I wouldn't be able to participate in the entire 48 hours, I would very much like to meet you all at Vermont Sport Car and take the tour of their facility. I'll be in the Lake George area that weekend, and that would make for a nice ride over to Burlington. Can I make a contribution to Make a Wish and join the fun there? Thanks in advance.
