XenonDepot
fits inside our housings? The previous generation LED kits did, and these are similar in size. The nice thing about these units is that they are clockable, so you can optimize the position of the diodes. - Danny

ExitVisa
I'm thinking of getting the 9005 Extreme LED kit for the high beams on my 2007 spec B. I'm still new to Legacys so I don't know if it requires the CANBUS option.
XenonDepot
@ExitVisa - Does your vehicle use the high beam bulb as a DRL? If so, you may need to select the "canbus" option to avoid any flickering. Steve

CTGT
Are the lumen ratings per bulb of per pair? Do you have any photos of a down the road view comparing halogen low beam and LED?
XenonDepot
@racerdave - No canbus needed for your vehicle. CTGT - The bulbs are rated at approximately 1800-1900 lumens per bulb (low beam only bulbs). CTGT
How does the brightness of these compare with your prior model LED that this replaced?
XenonDepot
Hi, These are 22% brighter then the previous version. Steve
CTGT
Thanks Steve! Are the clockable bases made out of metal or plastic? Hard to tell from the photos. Also, would it be OK to put the ballast in the headlight housing and then put the dust caps back on without air holes or modified dust caps? I'm assuming not canbus needed on a 2010 LGT low beam, can you confirm? Anyone have photos of these on an LGT?
XenonDepot
@CTGT - There is no plastic on the bulb -- only aluminum. We suggest putting the driver outside of the headlight housing as it gets warm. We do have customers that place everything in the headlight housing, but we suggest mounting it outside so that the heatsink doesn't get warmed up by the driver as well..
