The 2Fiver
According to Cobb's website the older 4th gens make signifigant power gains over the newer 07/09 LGT's (Stg 2 93 base maps) These are AT maps. At stage 2 they're claiming 21%HP/30%TQ increase for the 05/06. Check the Stage 2 maps for 07-09 and it's 6%HP/22%TQ. I'm looking for some clarification on this difference and whether or not this information is still relevant. I have an accessport in hand and a Cobb Catted DP on the way. It's hard to believe that 17 psi and a 3" DP only nets 15 bhp, which is why I suspect there's some X factor I'm missing here. Tempted to hop on a mustang dyno before and after the DP is on. Maybe I'll STFU once I feel how much quicker the car is too.

xtea
Strange, I thought the newer ones would perform better because of the slightly different heads?
Tuning Alliance
Shoot us a PM and we can get you setup on a custom etune. There are some differences between 05/06-07/09 like catted vs catless up pipes. -Brian Contact us for all your tuning and performance parts needs! Etuning the legacy community since 2008! The 2Fiver
I did'nt know about the heads. With the minor differences though I wonder what would warrant such a huge difference in gains. Maybe the car they tuned off was an oddball? Beats me. I'll post up again if I do the dyno comparison.
