JacksonJ
Just replaced my wheels with a set of Tenzo 18's racing wheels last night. The tires are 225/40/18 but are previously used. Just this morning on my drive to work I noticed that after about 30 mins of driving the Traction control disabled light came on. Is this normal when running larger wheels? I didn't see any mention of it in the Official Offsets, sizes for rims thread. For now I think I can just disable Traction control manually myself each time I start the car. Just want to make sure there's nothing else to look into. I plan on putting the original rims with the winter tires sometime in October.
patrikman
Did your new wheels have TPMS sensors?
JacksonJ
Don't think so but I don't believe my originals do either. In Canada TPMS is not a standard option. Also typically the TPMS icon is different.
