loganbrooks Posted June 6, 2016 Share Posted June 6, 2016 Hi, my last post on here was about a 250t overheating, thanks to the member that replied after flushing the heater core out, the car has not overheated since (1500km driving so far). Although since then, the heater only blows out 'warm air' when the engine reaches normal operating temperature. The HVAC control is digital (car is year 2000 wagon), and I tested it today and once the temp goes over 25 degrees celsius (maximum is 32) it doesnt increase the temperature, stays the same, and lowers as usual when the temp is turned down. Has anyone come across an issue like this? Maybe we tripped something on accident when flushing the heater core out which appeared blocked to start with. The coolant levels are as normal, and the heater core hoses get hot, its just not reaching the hot temperature from the heater as it used to.
