Well the car is almost 6 months, has 3097 miles, figured it was a good time to change the oil. I was happy to find that my old oil filter tool, the right one in the picture below fit the stock oil filter nicely. I put the long flex head ratchet in it and the filter came off nicely. I know that sometimes the first oil change that filter can be a PITA.

My other cars have the Fumoto oil drain valves so I figured it was a good to install one. I have heard some say the drain valve sticks to far into the oil pan. The threads of the stock oil drain plug are longer then the threads on the valve. Sorry didn't get a picture of that.

But after letting the oil drain fora while until it was dripping very few seconds, I installed the valve. Then opened it and oil continues to drip out. So I'm sure it doesn't stick up into the pan to far.

The ramps the car is on are also new. Got them yesterday from Discount Ramps.com I like them much better then the plastic ones they are replacing. I feel much safer under the car using them, then the plastic ones that were beginning to crack and break.
