Adam393
I have the V1 oil feed line from Infamous and am getting ready to switch from my 18g to a Dom 1.5XTR, but I have not been able to find the necessary information on two parts, and I'm hoping someone on here knows: 1. Is the Infamous oil feed line the correct size/thread pitch to use with the Dom, or is there an adapter needed to make it work? 2. I do not have the oil feed line from the Blouch, so I don't have the oil restrictor. If the Infamous line is compatible, do I use the banjo bolt that's used for the journal bearing, or is that too high flowing, and I need to use the OEM banjo bolt? Thanks for any info you guys might have

Code
ATP turbo will have everything you need to build a really nice supply line. They have restricted .035 banjos for the Garrett chra's just be sure to verify the ID of the infamous supply will fit your new banjo bolt. Code
I can tell you that my AVO380(Garrett 2871r) does not use the OEM bolt. It doesn't fit. "Striving to better, oft we mar what's well." - Bill Shakespeare - car modder
Adam393
As per Mike @ Infamous: Blouch turbos do not use a banjo bolt. They come with a specific restrictor and line. the line is nothing more than a -3 stainless line. But the restrictor is VERY important. The restrictor requires a line with a 90deg bend in it (female AN as the restrictor is male). You can use the filtered oil supply line, but you will need a different final fitting to mate to the restrictor. You MUST use the restrictor, the ball bearings require a very specific volume of oil. Too much or too little will cause damage. Thanks. -Mike Infamous Performance

Code
Hmmmm... There are banjos made specifically for the GT Series turbos. Seems to be some conflicting info here. Underdog
The Blouch Dom1.5XTR comes with a restrictor fitting so the IPT kit must be adapted via a 90 degree elbow (swivel preferably). The Crimson Dynamo
Adam393
Does the infamous filter kit use a banjo on the vf turbos? Here's a pic from the Infamous prototype: http://legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=106439&d=1317963390 (http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/filtered-turbo-oil-supply-line-kit-w-instructions-173373.html) Looks like it is using a banjo bolt, but I'm not sure if anything has changed since then/what turbo it's on. Looking through the photos from my engine refresh a few years ago, it sort of looks like it's not utilizing a banjo bolt on my 18g, but it's hard to tell from the pic (I don't know for certain which it is, I paid a friend to do all the engine and suspension work) http://imgur.com/Mu99t9O
Code
The Blouch Dom1.5XTR comes with a restrictor fitting so the IPT kit must be adapted via a 90 degree elbow (swivel preferably). Ok. The ok fitting that it comes with is a straight-through .035 restrictor. Like this? http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-OIL-021&Category_Code=GTBB They make a .035 banjo bolt/fitting to -4an specifically for that chra http://www.atpturbo.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=tp&Product_Code=ATP-FTG-054&Category_Code=GTBB The "low profile" banjo kit is what I used to build my line. This is why I was confused when OP mentioned this turbo not using a banjo setup. (Dom1.5xtr= garrett 3071r correct?) Code
Sorry, I butchered his explanation and should have just linked his response. Edited my above post with it Yea... It reads a bit different now! I originally used the straight fitting. I did t like the clearance of the oil feed with my turbo heatshields so I switched it out. Make sure you have two crush washers for under that straight restricted fitting. I couldn't get it to seal on mine using a single. With the banjo I also used two on the bottom and one on the top. I don't see anything on that banjo fitting page that says it has a .035 restriction, but they do mention it is compatible with the GT25R through GT35 frames. Not doubting you at all, I would just want to confirm proper built-in restriction before using in my own application or recommending it to others. FWIW I ended up not using the IPT kit with my Dom1.5XTR for a few reasons: 1) The banjo that taps into the OCV didn't fit under my '08+ STI RH injector shield/TMIC bracket. 2) I wanted to keep the stock banjo bolt filter so that the AVCS system would be filtered. 3) The line included with my Dom1.5XTR had the right-angle built in and works well with the stock oil feed location and restrictor on the turbo. The line does contact the TMIC bracket slightly, but has a SS braid jacket so I'm not too worried about it.
