NAL_LGT
Hello I have a quick question Has anyone ran a mix match of sway bars? For example whiteline up front and Cusco in the rear? This running whiteline all around, 22mm up front and 20mm in the rear, do you have significant under steer? Or more understeer than stock? Also what do you think of Cusco sway bars vs Whiteline? Are Cusco bars more stuff or better quality? Thanks for any input
NAL_LGT
Noticed a few typos. Those running whiteline all around Are Cusco bars stiffer?
scoobyscoodle
The difference between the 22mm/20mm for the Whiteline and the 23mm/21mm for the Cusco are both less of a difference in size than the stock front vs rear, so either of those setups will not increase understeer compared to factory. Also, the tires and alignment, as well as springs and dampers will also play huge role in the cars balance regarding under vs oversteer. The Cusco's should be ever so slightly stiffer, but the difference is probably not noticeable. Pick the ones that are your preferred price and color. NAL_LGT
Thanks for the input scooby. I appreciate the input. I think that's what I will probably go with. I noticed that the whiteline sway bars are generally cheaper than the Cusco ones. Are cusco sway bars better quality? Or is it just a matter of name? Also can I use stock end links with either sway bars or does one of them require something special?
scoobyscoodle
It's likely just the Cusco name. JDM, 'yo. You can use stock endlinks but they will wear faster. The Kartboy ones are very solid.
fahr_side
I've seen a lot of broken Cusco bars recently, mostly on BR9s. They come apart where the end brackets are welded to the bar itself. I've never seen a Whiteline bar broken. Sent from a device using some software. Andy_Mac
Me and atleast one other in the last few months have had issues with the whiteline bars where there is no way for the front one to pivot past the tie rod, still waiting for a reply from whiteline with a solution for it. Could potentially fit with extremely short endlinks but considering this came as a kit with endlinks specifically for this model car its a pretty crap result 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
