catsartcox
I decided to take my new Subaru up to the crest of the Sandia's here in ABQ. It did great! I have no doubts on how well my Legacy can handle snow and ice. http://i.imgur.com/G5Mux3b.jpg

Dujo
It's not personal. You will find that there is a bit of a discrepancy between the demographics of the fourth gen turbo enthusiasts and the 6th genners. That said, the truth is that you got a great car that is incredibly safe (one of the safest out there) and performs amazingly in the snow and wet with all wheel drive that is among the best in the world and all for a fantastically cheap price. But it's not the performance car that it was 10 years ago. Subaru took the Legacy in a different direction and they are selling cars like gangbusters because of it. Way more than they ever sold of the turbo cars. We just miss it and lament that fact that the street performance and styling has become more in line with other makes. It's possible that we take it out on new owners in childish ways sometimes, but keep in mind that it's really just in the way of some good-natured ribbing. We love all Subarus. You should have been here when the 5th gen came out. The wide-ass jokes became brutal at times. Besides, there are plenty of knowledgeable like-minded 6th genners on here that will help you get the most out of your Subaru. But you might have to endure the occasional comment about the boring nature of your Ford Taurus clone. It's all in good fun. Great snow pic by the way. Welcome to LGT.com. Enjoy! catsartcox
Alright, haha. It is the same thing with Jeeps. My old world. The old ones always seemed better then the new ones. That being said, I don't see much in between my Legacy and my mothers Taurus(she is here for Christmas) http://i.imgur.com/pJNPnyq.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Et9K1ke.jpg
