Captain Jones
bosch 15636 vs 15930? My mechanic says I need the 15636 rather than the 15930...mentioned something about federal vs. cali emissions. Any info on this would be appreciated. Kind of a bummer to have to pay return shipping and an additional $50. Did the rear sensor and CEL is back, so I have to replace the front too. apexi
From what I just read at a few different sites, I think your mechanic is right. I knew there were federal vs California catalytic converters, but never knew there were oxygen sensors like that too. Learned something new. Bosch (and a few other sites I went to) mention that Massachusetts does follow California emissions. http://www.boschxperience.com/documents/11100/0/0/f35cc08a-c101-494f-b365-3cccf902ab0b
