jonah_ow
I was wondering if anyone has swapped the Outback struts/springs/top hats combo into an LGT, and if that is all that's needed for such a project. I would like to have more ground clearance since I live on a dirt road in New England. I currently have coilovers and am lowered a decent amount, so a set of swappable lift suspension would be nice! battelready
You could, but it'll look really weird. You could go with stock legacy suspension and there should be plenty clearance. I bought an auto be more involved in my uninvolvedness . 200k+ Club If you can't blind them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit. My high mileage turd. PJM
Can't you get 1 or 2 " with just different profile - winter tires? -- it doesn;t work out - you can just sell the tires..
KRM
Stock spring/struts from a sedan. And some subtle solutions lift spacers might do it.

KRM
I see. So then just spacers and tires? Would be alot less work that way for a suspension experiment
jonah_ow
Problem is I don't have the stock stuff left. So coilovers with spacers would still be really low. I need to traverse 6+ inch deep ruts for a few weeks. KRM
Sorry for not understanding that you no longer have the oem set. If I were a bit more up to swap my own suspension kit that's in my spare room, I'd sell it to you
