apexi
First, I would make sure fuses 6/7 under the hood are good. Also wouldn't hurt to check the headlight fuses inside the car, I forget the numbers. How old are the bulbs?
noone29
the bulbs are from sometime last winter, i will try the fuses, the high beams seem to work fine tho
ExitVisa
make sure the bulbs are seated correctly. There is a tab on the base of the bulb that fits in a space in the receptacle. If it's not in there the bulb isn't in far enough & it will send light just a few feet down the road.
apexi
^ Good point. I borrowed this picture from a hyundai forum, but it gets the point across (red arrow). http://www.chiefnoda.com/misc/hyundai-sonata/chiefnoda-Hyundai-headlight10.jpg
ExitVisa
This video is what reminded me to make sure that the tab on the bulb is in the right place.
