I went to take the bolts out and snapped one rhe other one is rounded off and none of the sockets that are made for grip doesn't work but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for me! Maybe jb weld would work or another sealant
bjkroll
Are you talking about the plastic housing that's also the outlet tube? Man I dunno, I can't see that working without securing with a bolt. I'm more of a drill and heli-coil guy myself.
Osei
Vise grips should work on both. Once you remove the rounded one, you should have enough of a stud to grip the other. O.
Matt98GT
It's a metal outlet!!! The one on the bottom of the motor it's a little too tight to fit vice grips in there I can't even fit a dremel bit in there to put a slit in it to use a flat head screwdriver
johnegg
time to buy a left handed drill bit. and drill it out. or just pull the water pump and work on it. or, go to a parts yard and buy another t-stat housing / pipe, and replace the water pump. or just swap out the engine. all good solutions, or not.
