What is this thing?

Recommended Posts

Anyone know what this is? I got my car detailed the other day and they put a couple of things in the trunk that I left in the car by accident. In one of the bags was this thing. I have no idea where it's from but I feel like it must be from the trunk/spare tire/rear area since I've never seen it before. I want to put it back where it belongs. It says "Subaru Insulation" on it

It looks just like something that was under my dash, directly under my fan blower motor. I saw it when replacing my cabin filter a few years ago and then again last summer when I replaced the blower motor.

Did you have a new cabin filter put in recently?

Yeah, thats definitely the insulation under the dash. Probably the original one if the airbag blew and they replaced it.

I dunno what you mean about airbag blowing it was just a car detailing..?

Nvm , i seriously thought it was the one under the dash. But it seems like the one around the panel for the foot well ducts.
