RustyRuu Posted August 11, 2015 Share Posted August 11, 2015 need some help i was doing my rear main seal today and i put it a little past where the old one sat. i think it will be ok but i want to hear what others think. in the first picture you can see the silver lines where the old seal sat and where the new seal is (the red/pink/orange bit) the second picture you look at will have the seal and where it sits is below the slanted part and just a little more below that Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

PM "Underdog" or "m sprank" 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
